The founding cohort.

The first cohort of The Virtus Society will consist of twenty-four men.

Twelve months. One cohort.

Every member knows every other member.

The first members will not simply join an institution. They will help establish its standards, traditions, culture, and expectations.

The men who enter now may someday become mentors, employers, investors, teachers, donors, and leaders for the men who enter decades from now.

How entry works.

  1. 01

    Application

    A written application. It is read closely. Length is not the point; seriousness is.

  2. 02

    Conversation

    If there appears to be a mutual fit, a conversation follows with a founder, not a recruiter.

  3. 03

    Invitation

    Invitations are extended individually, with the standards stated plainly before a man accepts.

  4. 04

    Commitment

    A member commits to twelve months, to his brotherhood, and to The Code.
